because you don’t make butter with double cream, I now know. Sarah treated me to a mini butter churn & first time out, I thought if I used double cream, already nice & thick, it should speed the process up. It sure did. Within about three strokes, the hydraulic pressure built up so I couldn’t budge it. Top off & what I have is a good reason to buy some scones!
More news soon – things are settling down on the family front now, so I’m hoping to get a few thoughts down again.
