spent a sunny Tuesday morning picking medlars at my aunt’s. They are now on 7 trays on various windowsills bletting. More to come soon on the yummy stuff page, but first I need to clear up after yeasterday’s marathon bake – 4 Christmas puddings & 4 Christmas cakes. Then get off to a Craft Fair this evening at Griff & Coton Sports & Social Club, Nuuneaton, from 7pm.
Busy, successful, challenged & in control!
Napton Craft Fair October 25, 2011

Napton (CV47 8LS) village is a mixture of modern & traditional & the drive out there included some single-track lanes. Sally Satnav is very good at finding these, but it did take me past the Blue Lias Inn near Stockton. So a bit of history & geology thrown in. Looks like a potential summer ride out.
The Fair went went very well. I can’t take all the produce with me to fairs, so just have a little of evrything. This time, I sold out of some lines – very pleasing. Hot & spicy seems to be popular around here. Great compliments for the Plum Sauce, which is one of my favourites too.
