Second for Handsomest Dog, Second for Dog the Judges Would Most Like to take home. I’m pleased with him, & pleased for him. He’s come a long way in just a few months & never been to an event as busy as this. Just look at those eyes: “Can I just have this treat today Mummy?”

WP_20160629_12_04_29_ProBertie sorts a coloured Wensleydale Longwool fleece, fresh from the sheep. No, this is not destined for a dog blanket. Going for a suint soak if the sun comes out, then tailspinning for a shaggy jacket, or rug, or both. How many three-year-olds get to celebrate their birthday like this?

WP_20160617_15_49_32_Projars contain layers of mordanted fleece (Swaledale cross Cheviot), logwood chips for purple, & homegrown weld for yellow. They will sit there now for a few weeks to mash. Shame about the sun.
